Chiemsee Reggae Summer is the second Reggae Festival in Germany, usually one week after Summer Jam the German Reggae-Posse gets together again at the bank of the Chiemsee in Bayern/Bavaria. Moderne Welt had to cancel the 1998 Reggae Summer Splash tour (like all the others in the last year) "due to Jamaican business". Anyway, they tried to set up a tour like this so many times now and are still not able to deal with the Reggae business... since 1993 the Bongo Bongo Sunsplash is a small but well known festival in the Westerwald.
